DNA Testing Services

Test Kit Purchase and Use

When you purchase a DNA test kit from TruMe Labs:

• You will receive a test kit with instructions for sample collection
• You must follow all instructions carefully to ensure accurate results
• You must register your kit online before returning your sample
• You are responsible for returning your sample within the specified timeframe
• Results will be available through your online account within 4-6 weeks

Sample Requirements

To ensure accurate test results:

• Do not eat, drink, smoke, or chew gum for 30 minutes before providing your sample
• Follow all collection instructions provided with your kit
• Return your sample promptly to avoid degradation
• Ensure the sample is properly sealed and packaged

Test Results and Limitations

You understand and acknowledge that:

• Our tests provide information about biological age and health insights based on DNA methylation patterns
• Results are for informational and educational purposes only
• Results are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• Results should not replace professional medical advice
• You should consult with a healthcare provider before making health decisions based on results
• Test accuracy may be affected by various factors including sample quality
• We cannot guarantee specific results or outcomes

Intellectual Property Rights

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and algorithms, are owned by TruMe Labs and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our express written permission.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Submit samples from anyone other than yourself without proper authorization
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation of our Services
• Use automated systems to access our Services without permission
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Collect or harvest information about other users
• Use our Services to spam or send unsolicited communications

Payment and Refunds

Pricing and Payment

All prices are in USD and subject to change without notice. Payment is due at the time of purchase. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as indicated on our website.

Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

• Unopened Kits: Full refund within 30 days of purchase
• Defective Kits: Replacement kit or full refund if kit is defective
• Failed Analysis: Full refund if we cannot analyze your sample due to our error
• No Refunds: Once a sample has been analyzed, no refunds are available

Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of test results
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

We do not warrant that our Services will meet your requirements or that results will be accurate, complete, or reliable.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUME LABS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:

• Your use or inability to use our Services
• Any unauthorized access to or use of your data
• Any errors or omissions in test results
• Any decisions made based on test results
• Any interruption or cessation of our Services

Our total liability to you for all claims arising from your use of our Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TruMe Labs and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of our Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.

Changes to Terms

Termination

Severability
